Rivets blank Dock Spiders to open homestand

LOVES PARK (WREX) - The Rivets started up their homestand with a 6-0 win over the Dock Spiders on Thursday. Brett Sears led the way with five innings of shut-out baseball with 6 strikeouts. On the offensive side, Khalil Walker had 4 RBIs to add plenty of insurance for the Rockford pitchers.

The Dock Spiders and Rivets will finish their series on Friday night at 6:35.
