KRON4's Pam Moore announces retirement from anchor desk
KRON news anchor Pam Moore announced her retirement on Tuesday, June 6, 2023.
Veteran journalist Pam Moore, a KRON4 news anchor since 1991, announced her retirement from the anchor desk Tuesday.
"I’m humbled to have shared this career with so many, this was not an easy decision, but my faith confirmed it's time. It's been a real blessing," Moore told KRON4.

A graduate of the University of Michigan and a Detroit native, Moore was nominated for an Emmy for the KRON special, "From Selma to Ferguson," and was nominated for two Northern California Emmy awards for her medical reports "Diets Don't Work" and "The Brain."
"Over the past three decades, Pam's care for our community, as well as her unwavering commitment to accuracy and fairness has earned the trust of our viewers and the respect of all who have worked in the KRON newsroom," news director Josh Palefsky said of Moore.
